“I’ve got unfinished business,” roared Tyrone Mings as he shattered expectations by signing a dramatic contract extension with Aston Villa — months after fans feared his career might be over. The 32-year-old defensive titan, fresh off a nightmare knee injury, has penned a new deal keeping him at Villa Park until 2027 — and fans are losing their minds.

In a move nobody saw coming, the club confirmed the deal amid growing rumours of a defensive overhaul. Mings, who has been with Villa since 2019, missed over a year of football after a crushing ligament injury in the opening game of the season against Newcastle. But when he returned? Villa didn’t lose a single match he played.

“I’m not done yet,” Mings declared. “This club means everything to me — and I’m ready to fight.”

Manager Unai Emery is said to be thrilled behind the scenes, calling Mings’ return and new contract “a massive boost for the entire squad.” The fans? Exploding with emotion. Social media’s been on fire ever since the announcement dropped.
