The Sacramento Kings have executed a significant three-team trade, sending All-Star point guard De’Aaron Fox to the San Antonio Spurs and acquiring two-time All-Star shooting guard Zach LaVine from the Chicago Bulls.

In addition to LaVine, the Kings have secured forward Sidy Cissoko and multiple draft picks, including a 2025 first-round pick via Charlotte (top 14 protected), a 2027 first-round pick via San Antonio (unprotected), a 2031 first-round pick via Minnesota (unprotected), and three second-round picks in 2025, 2028, and 2028.

This trade marks a significant shift for the Kings, who have been a playoff contender in recent seasons. The acquisition of LaVine, known for his scoring prowess and athleticism, is expected to bolster the Kings’ offensive capabilities. Meanwhile, the departure of Fox, a dynamic playmaker and leader, leaves a notable gap in the team’s backcourt.

The Kings’ next game is scheduled for Wednesday night against the Orlando Magic at Golden 1 Center. LaVine is expected to make his debut with the Kings in this matchup.
