David Ornstein Confirms Arsenal’s Dismay Over Possible ‘Elite’ Player Sale

Arsenal have faced some tough farewells over the years. The north London club parted ways with stars like Mesut Ozil and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, both of whom shone brightly for the team but ended their tenures with strained fan relationships.

Today, Arsenal enjoys greater stability on and off the field. However, the club still needs to streamline its squad, which might necessitate parting with some beloved players.

One such player is Emile Smith Rowe, recently linked with a move away. David Ornstein provided an update on Smith Rowe’s future on the Sky Sports Back Pages Podcast, indicating that Arsenal holds him in high regard and would be genuinely sad to see him go if it comes to that.

Ornstein stated, “He’s an elite talent, and it’s unfortunate that injuries have disrupted his time at Arsenal. Although a move seems likely, it’s not definite, and the club values him highly.

Amy potential transfer will require suitable bids, but Arsenal will be sad to see him leave if it happens.”

Smith Rowe’s departure would indeed be regrettable. Once seen as a rising star alongside Bukayo Saka, injuries have impeded his progress.

In an ideal scenario, he would be a regular starter, leading Arsenal to success. Hopefully, Smith Rowe can find a club where he can realize his potential.
