As Arsenal gear up for their return to Premier League action this weekend, several key injury concerns continue to persist.

Following an unbeaten start to the season, Arsenal are set to face Bournemouth, sitting third in the table, just a point behind Liverpool and Manchester City. The team is also looking ahead to a busy end to October, with matches against Liverpool, Shakhtar Donetsk, and Preston on the horizon.

    Bukayo Saka

Saka, who started for England last Thursday, left the match early due to an injury. However, manager Carsley offered hope, stating, “Bukayo would have been close but it would have been unfair to take a risk with him. He’s a positive person and I expect him to be fine.”

Potential return date: Unknown, potentially October 19 vs Bournemouth

    Martin Odegaard

Fans grew concerned when rumors suggested a setback in Odegaard’s recovery, but the Arsenal captain previously mentioned he was recovering quicker than expected. He wrote, “I’m healing quicker than anticipated,” and was seen working on an anti-gravity treadmill, hinting at a return in late October or early November.

    Potential return date: Late October

    Kai Havertz

Havertz played the full 90 minutes against Southampton, scoring an equalizer in the comeback win. He withdrew from Germany’s squad due to a knee problem, but it was precautionary, with the expectation that he’ll be fit for the next match.

Potential return date: October 19, vs Bournemouth

    Thomas Partey

Partey, who had been dealing with illness, withdrew from Ghana’s squad but is expected to be fit for the trip to Bournemouth. He filled in at right-back in the last match against Southampton.

Potential return date: October 19, vs Bournemouth

    Ben White

White has been sidelined with a groin injury since replacing Saka in a match against Manchester City. He missed the last four games, but Arteta is hopeful White will be fit for Bournemouth.

Potential return date: October 19, vs Bournemouth

    Jurrien Timber

Timber missed the win over Southampton due to a knock but could return for Bournemouth after skipping international duty.

Potential return date: October 19, vs Bournemouth

    Oleksandr Zinchenko

Zinchenko, dealing with a calf injury, has been out since August 31. His recovery has gone well, and Arteta expects him to return after the international break.

Potential return date: October 19, vs Bournemouth

    Kieran Tierney

Tierney has been out with a hamstring injury since June during Scotland’s Euro 2024 campaign. No timeline has been set for his return.

    Potential return date: Unknown

    Neto

On loan at Bournemouth, Neto will be unavailable to face his parent club due to the loan agreement. Arsenal’s goalkeeper situation remains stable, with David Raya fit to play.

Potential return date: October 22, vs Shakhtar Donetsk
