Stephen A. SMITH SLAMS Cowboys for ‘Pathetic’ Decision to Hire Brian Schottenheimer!

Stephen A. Smith has heavily criticized the Dallas Cowboys’ hiring of Brian Schottenheimer, calling it “pathetic.” Speaking on ESPN’s “First Take,” Smith voiced his displeasure, suggesting the move would harm the team’s future.

Reports suggest that Cowboys executive vice president Stephen Jones is pushing for Schottenheimer’s appointment, while owner Jerry Jones is somewhat hesitant. This shows a divide within the organization about the team’s coaching direction.

Schottenheimer, who has served as an offensive coordinator for teams like the New York Jets, St. Louis Rams, Seattle Seahawks, and Dallas Cowboys, has never been a head coach. His potential hiring is seen by some as a move for stability, given his past work with the Cowboys’ offense.

Smith’s criticism mirrors wider concerns from fans and analysts about the Cowboys’ coaching choices and their impact on the team’s success.
