Welcome to Trade Deadline Week. With deals starting to roll in, some will directly impact the Phoenix Suns, while others will have more subtle effects. Our team will analyze every trade in depth, but this thread will serve as a live tracker, keeping you updated on the latest news. Be sure to check back frequently to see how each move affects the roster.

Major trades will get detailed breakdowns soon, but for now, this thread is your go-to source for everything Suns-related at the deadline!

Sunday, 10:45 AM: Two former Suns are on the move

While this trade doesn’t directly involve the Suns, it does feature some familiar names. Drew Eubanks, who endured a rough season in Phoenix with the team’s worst plus/minus, has been traded from the Utah Jazz to the Los Angeles Clippers, along with Patty Mills. In exchange, the Jazz acquire another former Sun, P.J. Tucker, plus Mo Bamba and a future first-round pick.

Why does this matter to Suns fans? The Clippers just became an even bigger threat at the deadline. By reducing their payroll, they move under the luxury tax threshold, allowing them greater flexibility for additional moves before the deadline and in the buyout market. Keep an eye on Los Angeles—this is likely just the beginning.
