Andy Cole, Manchester United legend, has accused Mikel Arteta, Arsenal manager, of mistreating goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale.

Ramsdale started the season as Arsenal’s No.1 but was quickly replaced by David Raya. Arteta initially claimed that he would rotate Ramsdale and Raya throughout the season, even suggesting he might swap them during matches.
However, Raya has emerged as the undisputed first choice. Ramsdale has only made two Premier League appearances since Raya’s debut in September and is unlikely to feature again this season.
Cole, who began his career at Arsenal, believes Ramsdale has been unfairly treated and misled by Arteta, urging him to consider his future at the end of the season.
Arteta has been criticized for disregarding Ramsdale and misleading him about his role at the club. Cole believes Ramsdale deserves more respect and suggests he would do well at Newcastle if he were to move on from Arsenal.
Arteta has warned that no discussions about Ramsdale’s future will take place until the end of the season. He expressed satisfaction with the decision to sign Ramsdale and praised their connection on a personal level.
