Cole Palmer’s bizarre reaction to Chelsea and Forest mass brawl goes viral

During Chelsea’s Premier League match against Nottingham Forest, Cole Palmer displayed an unexpected response amid a heated brawl that has since gained traction on social media.

The game took a turn when Forest was reduced to ten players after James Ward Prowse received a red card with 12 minutes remaining, prompting Chelsea to press for a win.

As the match neared its end, a scuffle broke out on the sidelines after Neco Williams appeared to push Marc Cucurella into Enzo Maresca. Fan footage captured Nicolas Jackson seemingly raising his hand towards Forest’s Morato during the chaos.

Although VAR reviewed the incident, it concluded that there was no violent conduct, allowing Jackson to remain on the pitch. Meanwhile, Palmer, the former Manchester City player, remained notably calm throughout the situation.

In videos circulating online, he was seen sitting on the ground, choosing not to engage in the altercation. This may have been a wise choice, especially since it’s unclear if any penalties will follow for those involved. Chelsea would be at a disadvantage if either Palmer or Jackson faced suspensions, particularly given their strong season start.

Palmer has been a key player, already scoring six goals and providing four assists in just eight matches. His teammate, Jackson, has also made significant contributions, with four goals and three assists in one fewer appearance.
