Hammers manager David Moyes has slammed his underperforming West Ham players as he seeks a reaction against Tottenham on Tuesday night.

    David Moyes

The adjective ‘weak’ does not come to mind when thinking of West Ham United under David Moyes during the previous four years.

However, several of the Hammers’ players were as inept as the refereeing in the team’s miserable 4-3 loss to Newcastle. West Ham appeared to be headed for a vital three points in the fight for a European spot with fifteen minutes remaining, leading 3-1. Then came one of the most pitiful collapses by West Ham in recent memory, and the referees did little to help

.First and foremost, the Hammers can only blame themselves.

Moyes is not letting weak Hammers players off the hook.

And the management is definitely not letting them off the hook. Moyes has slammed his West Ham players and demanded a response against Tottenham.

West Ham must win against Champions League contenders Tottenham Hotspur after falling behind in the past three games.

On Tuesday night, the Hammers will host their Premier League opponents at the London Stadium.

Moyes has slammed his Newcastle players for lacking toughness and resilience. And he believes they will need to do all of that and more to overcome Tottenham Hotspur.

‘Toughen up for Spurs’ boss warns West Ham players

Seven Footballers Who Tore Into the Scene This Season Unfortunately, several Hammers players were as inept as the referees during the team’s miserable 4-3 loss to Newcastle. With fifteen minutes remaining, West Ham led 3-1 and appeared to be headed for a vital three points in the battle for a spot in Europe. Not assisted by the referees, what followed was one of the most pitiful West Ham collapses in recent memory. Above all, though, the Hammers are solely responsible for their own actions. Moyes refuses to release the feeble stars of the Hammers Furthermore, the management isn’t absolving them in any way. Moyes seeks an answer from Spurs after criticising his lacklustre West Ham players.

Moyes hardly, if ever, challenges his players’ tenacity and fortitude. The fact that he has says a lot. Now, all the players need to do is stand up and make amends when Tottenham visits east London.
