The Phoenix Suns have been one of the NBA’s biggest disappointments this season. Coming into the year with hopes to silence their critics and reassert themselves as a top contender in the Western Conference, the Suns had high expectations.

With their star-studded trio of Kevin Durant, Devin Booker, and Bradley Beal, Phoenix was aiming for a title run. However, with just a few weeks left in the regular season, the Suns find themselves on the outside of the playoff race.

This has stirred tension within the organization, and head coach Mike Budenholzer recently confronted Booker in a meeting.

As a result, there’s speculation regarding Booker’s future in Phoenix. While it’s unclear what the Suns will do, it’s possible they could trade Booker this summer, or the guard might request a move himself.

If that happens, here are the top destinations for the four-time All-Star:

    4. Los Angeles Lakers
Though this could be challenging due to the rivalry between the two teams, Booker has been frequently linked to the Lakers. Pairing him with Luka Doncic and LeBron James could create a formidable trio that would be difficult for any defense to handle.

For this trade to happen, the Lakers would likely have to trade guard Austin Reaves and put together an appealing package for Phoenix.

    3. Brooklyn Nets
The Nets are positioning themselves for a significant offseason thanks to their cap space and draft assets. Booker could mark the beginning of a new era in Brooklyn, and other players would likely be eager to join him. The Nets could offer the Suns a solid return, making this a viable trade if Phoenix is open to it.

    2. Miami Heat
Following the loss of Jimmy Butler, Miami is in need of another superstar to complement Bam Adebayo. Booker would be an ideal fit, and both teams are familiar with each other from the previous trade talks involving Butler.

Booker could lead the Heat’s backcourt for years, forming a dynamic duo with Adebayo.

    1. Orlando Magic
Teaming Booker with Paolo Banchero would create a dangerous pairing for the Magic. Orlando has been in need of a sharpshooter, and Booker has been an elite scorer from long range throughout his career.

The Magic are poised to make a significant leap in the Eastern Conference, and Booker could play a key role in that. Additionally, Orlando likely has the necessary assets to complete a deal with the Suns. The Magic is a fitting destination for the All-Star guard.
