Ipswich Town manager Kieran McKenna is closely monitoring the performance of loaned midfielder Cameron Humphreys. The 20-year-old academy product has made an impact at Wycombe Wanderers, scoring two goals in nine matches and becoming a favorite among fans.

“He’s doing very well, I’m really happy for him,” McKenna remarked. “He was more than ready to go out and play week-in, week-out in senior football.”

Humphreys had a productive stint with Ipswich, starting 10 league games during their promotion campaign but only featured three times in the Championship. McKenna added, “He developed so well as a player over the last couple of seasons, has been a big part of the group, and now he’s getting the chance to play regularly.”

Wycombe currently sits fifth in League One after winning five of their first nine matches. Their next game has been postponed due to three players being called up for international duty.
