Ipswich Town have not dismissed the possibility of signing Chelsea striker Armando Broja, despite a previous attempt at securing the 22-year-old falling through, as reported by The Guardian.

Initially, Ipswich had reached an agreement to loan Broja for the season, with a ยฃ30 million fee payable to Chelsea if the team avoided relegation.
Although Ipswich was close to finalizing the deal, they were unable to agree on personal terms with Broja. Nonetheless, there is still a chance the transfer could be completed before the deadline this Saturday.
As Premier League newcomers, Ipswich Town require additional attacking power to prevent relegation to the Championship.
The club recently signed last seasonโs Championship top scorer, Sammie Szmodics, who scored against Manchester City over the weekend. Despite this, Ipswich is still looking for more attacking options to support manager Kieran McKenna.
Broja remains a target for Ipswich. The Chelsea academy product seeks more playing time, with Nicolas Jackson and Marc Guiu ahead of him in the pecking order, though he has expressed some hesitation about moving to Suffolk.
It is uncertain whether Ipswich can convince Broja to join and finalize the deal.
Additionally, Ipswich are reportedly interested in Chelsea defender Trevoh Chalobah, who has been training away from the first team as Chelsea considers his departure.
The 25-year-old would strengthen Ipswichโs defense, offering competition for Jacob Greaves and Dara OโShea.
Chalobah would be a valuable addition to the squad but is reportedly reluctant to leave Chelsea, where he has a long-term contract.
He recently extended his contract until 2028, with Chelsea chairman Todd Boehly praising him as an exceptional young talent.
Given his long-term contract at Stamford Bridge, Chalobah can afford to be selective about his next move.
