Klay Thompson candid about Mavericks’ loss to Clippers without Luka Doncic, Kyrie Irving
DALLAS โ The Dallas Mavericks faced off against the Los Angeles Clippers on Thursday without Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving, along with several other players. Doncic sat out due to a left heel contusion, while Irving was out because of right shoulder soreness. The Clippers secured a 118-95 victory, but Klay Thompson stepped up, playing a pivotal role during the absence of Doncic and Irving.
Thompson recorded 22 points, along with three rebounds, three assists, and two steals. He shot 9-17 from the field. While it wasn’t Thompson’s finest performance, he managed to keep the Mavericks competitive until the Clippers began to pull ahead in the third quarter.
Nonetheless, Thompson believed Dallas could have performed better overall. He expressed his brutally honest opinion about the situation.
