The Arsenal manager has received a huge boost as he prepares for the Champions League quarter-final first leg encounter at Emirates Stadium.

Mikel Arteta has received a major boost as the whole Arsenal players trained ahead of their Champions League quarter-final first leg against Bayern Munich.
Jurrien Timber went out ahead of the rest of the team to conduct some warm-up routines with strength and conditioning coach Sam Wilson. The Dutch international was the only big injury worry coming into the practice, as he is still recovering from an ACL injury sustained on the first day of the Premier League season in August.
Timber was, however, allowed to participate in the first phase of training with the rest of the squad at the Sobha Realty Centre. The Gunners indulged in some warm-up drills as spirits were high.
Bukayo Saka also participated in training despite his ongoing muscular ailment. The England international started and scored the opening goal in Saturday’s 3-0 victory over Brighton.
Perhaps unexpectedly, he was taken away around the hour mark. However, in his post-match press conference, the Spaniard acknowledged that this was not an injury-related issue, saying: “Yeah, he’s fine.”
