Noah Lyles has expressed deep admiration for his girlfriend Junelle Bromfield, particularly highlighting her resilience. Lyles explained, “A strong warrior is a phrase my mum coined… we’re survivors. In our family, we debate why some people shoot for greatness while others are content where they are. Junelle definitely speaks to those persons that always shoot for greatness. You never have to ask; she’s not going to stay where she is.”

Lyles also addressed his comments regarding secrets shared by Bromfield about Jamaican athletes, clarifying that he only owes an apology to her. He stated that her feelings are what truly matter to him.

“It’s not a secret that I’ve had my share of conversations in the social space and I’ve been a hot topic for months, even years, and I didn’t go there with any ill intent… unfortunately, I can’t control how people take things,” he explained.

He affirmed, “The first thing that I want to make sure is that Junelle is okay with everything because that’s whose opinions I care about. This is the person I care about and I hope to continue to live with for many years.
