The Green Bay Packers, currently holding an 11-4 record, have secured a Wild Card spot in the NFL Playoffs. With two games left, they face NFC North rivalsโthe Minnesota Vikings in the Twin Cities this week, followed by the Chicago Bears at Lambeau Field in Week 18.
However, the Packers are entering these crucial games with a roster that’s less than ideal in terms of health. This isnโt unexpected, given the physical toll of football and the long season since September. Yet, the latest injury report has introduced some concerning updates.
Packers Add Elgton Jenkins to the Injury Report
The Thursday injury report revealed significant developments for Green Bay. Cornerback Jaire Alexander was downgraded from full to limited participation, and head coach Matt LaFleur remarked, “I donโt think the two-time Pro Bowl cornerback will play this weekend.” Furthermore, backup swing tackle Andre Dillard was listed due to a concussion.
The most worrying update, however, is the inclusion of Elgton Jenkins, the two-time Pro Bowl left guard, who is dealing with a knee issue. Jenkins practiced fully on Wednesday but was absent from Thursday’s session entirely.
