As the NBA Trade Deadline approaches on February 6, the Phoenix Suns are running out of time to complete their multi-team trade for Jimmy Butler. While we’ve explored potential scenarios, including three-team deals and some bold moves, if Butler doesn’t come through, the Suns may shift their attention to a fallback trade for Zach LaVine.
On Monday night, ESPNโs Brian Windhorst reported that “some teams that thought they were out of [the running for Butler] are coming back in because it doesn’t look like the Suns and Heat are going to be able to consummate a deal.”
If this holds true, the Suns may turn to LaVine as their next option.
