Ahead of the Golden State Warriors’ matchup with the Phoenix Suns on Friday, Steve Kerr spoke highly of his former player Kevin Durant, emphasizing the uniqueness of Durant’s scoring ability.

Kerr described Durant as someone “able to get his shot off against any defense, any defender,” adding, “Nobody’s ever had that kind of skill at that size. Incredibly unique package and I think he loves to play basketball. More than anything he loves the game. He works so hard at it.”

Reflecting on Durant’s time with the Warriors, Kerr also expressed admiration for Durant’s dedication. “That’s what I enjoyed most when we had him here is watching him after practice just go through his routine, it’s mesmerizing,” Kerr said. “He’s an amazing worker and loves to hoop, that’s pretty much it.”
