The rivals have played each other 60 times across 18 years
The first Grand Slam final showdown came at the 2010 US Open, which Nadal won in four sets, but Djokovic got his revenge a year later, having also come out on top in the Wimbledon final in 2011.

After being knocked out of the French Open by Nadal six times between 2006 and 2014, Djokovic earned his first Roland Garros win over the Spaniard in 2015, winning their quarter-final clash in straight sets.
The 2018 Wimbledon semi-final proved to be the pairโs final match against each other at SW19, lasting five hours and 15 minutes before Djokovic won 10-8 in the fifth set.
