The Golden State Warriors made a significant move Wednesday evening by acquiring Jimmy Butler from the Miami Heat, a trade that could improve the team. However, according to ESPN’s Brian Windhorst, this might not be the Warriors’ final move before the Thursday trade deadline. Windhorst mentioned on Get Up that the Warriors could still make additional deals, as they have several expiring contracts. One target could be Chicago Bulls center Nikola Vucevic, a skilled big man who can shoot. Vucevic is currently averaging 19.5 points and 10.4 rebounds per game, with an impressive 54.6% field goal percentage.
The Warriors may be interested in adding Vucevic to strengthen their frontcourt, but Windhorst also pointed out that the Bulls may want more than just the Warriorsโ expiring contracts, especially as the deadline approaches and other teams may become more desperate to make moves.
