Bleacher Report’s Jake L. Fischer has reported that the Phoenix Suns are eyeing Golden State Warriors forward Jonathan Kuminga. As Legion Hoops shared:
REPORT: The Suns have a ‘level of interest’ in Jonathan Kuminga.
Kuminga as a Key Piece in a Potential Trade
With the NBA trade market heating up, Golden State may use Phoenix’s interest in Kuminga to pursue former All-Star shooting guard Devin Booker. While the Warriors have been linked to a potential deal for Suns superstar Kevin Durant, that move seems unlikely at the moment. As a result, Booker could become their primary target.
Booker’s Offensive Prowess Could Bolster Warriors
Averaging 26.1 points per game this season, Booker remains one of the league’s most dynamic scorers. His offensive firepower could provide a much-needed boost for Golden State as they push toward the postseason.
To make a deal happen, the Warriors might package Kuminga with Brandin Podziemski, Buddy Hield, and a set of future draft picks. While the odds may be slim, the Warriors still have over 48 hours before the trade deadline to orchestrate a blockbuster move.
