Arsenal secured a crucial 4-2 victory against Leicester City, with late goals from Leandro Trossard, Gabriel Martinelli, and Kai Havertz, along with a Wilfried Ndidi own goal.

Despite a recent red card, Trossard made a strong comeback. Unexpectedly, David Raya started despite a thigh injury, while Ben White was still unavailable.

Mikel Arteta’s squad featured Jurrien Timber and Riccardo Calafiori as full-backs, both having faced injury concerns recently. Although the team missed captain Martin Odegaard, they managed to score effectively.

Looking ahead, Paris Saint-Germain will visit the Emirates for a Champions League match. Here’s an update on Arsenal’s injury situation:

    Ben White
    – Injury: Groin
    – Status: Missed two consecutive games.
    – Arteta’s Comment: “Jurrien [Timber] was able to take part in training, that’s good news, so he’ll be available in the squad. Hopefully Ben [White] too.”

    – Status: Surprised many by starting against Leicester.

    Mikel Merino
    – Injury: Shoulder
    – Status: Yet to debut for Arsenal.
    – Arteta’s Comment: “[Leicester] is too soon. Next week, we’ll see.”
    – Return Date: Bournemouth (A) – October 19

    Martin Odegaard
    – Injury: Ankle
    – Status: Missed the North London Derby due to injury.
    – Arteta’s Comment: “Recent scans…showed that he’s got some damage especially on one of the ligaments in the ankle.”
    – Return Date: Late October

    Jurrien Timber
    – Injury: Unknown
    – Status: Played the full match against Leicester.
    – Arteta’s Comment: “Jurrien [Timber] was able to take part in training.”
    – Return Date: Returned

    Oleksandr Zinchenko
    – Injury: Calf
    – Status: Out since October’s international break.
    – Return Date: Unknown

    Takehiro Tomiyasu
    – Injury: Knee

    – Status: Suffered an injury while playing for Scotland.
    – Arteta’s Comment: “He needs to focus now on recovering in the best possible way.”
